Guide Summary
A clear guide to returning your MYLEASE vehicle — complimentary doorstep assessment, documents and accessories to hand over, and how contract closure works.
Doorstep Vehicle Assessment
To make the vehicle return process simple and convenient, a MYLEASE representative will schedule a mutually convenient time to carry out a complimentary vehicle assessment at your preferred location.
Following the assessment, a detailed report will be shared, typically within one business day. If any repairs or refurbishment are recommended beyond normal wear and tear, the details and applicable charges, if any, will be communicated transparently.
You’ll be provided with adequate time to complete any necessary rectification before the vehicle handover and contract closure. As the vehicle insurance remains valid until the day following the return, we recommend completing any required work prior to handing over the vehicle.
What to Return
Please ensure the following items are available at the time of vehicle handover:
- Original Registration Certificate (RC), insurance policy, and any applicable tax or fitness documents.
- All vehicle keys, key fobs, and remotes provided at the time of delivery.
- Owner’s Manual, service booklet, warranty documents, and any other documents supplied with the vehicle.
- Spare tyre, jack, toolkit, hubcaps, and all original accessories and equipment delivered with the vehicle.
Next Steps
As your lease approaches its end date, please inform your Company Administrator or MYLEASE Relationship Manager to initiate the vehicle return process.
On the scheduled return date, ensure the vehicle is available along with all applicable documents, keys, and accessories for a smooth handover.
Once the vehicle has been returned, MYLEASE will complete the contract closure formalities and share the final settlement, if applicable.
If you’re planning to continue your mobility journey with MYLEASE, your Company Administrator or MYLEASE Relationship Manager will be happy to assist you with a lease renewal or selecting your next vehicle.
